The Saguaro National Park East is a great place to spend a part of your day. It is located in the foothills of the Rincon Mountains and provides spectacular views of the desert surrounding Tucson. When you first enter the park, you will notice a visitor's center that is packed with information about things to look for within the park.You can then either drive, walk, or ride a bicycle around the scenic 8 mile loop around the park. There is a small fee for entering the loop, so have a little cash on hand. And WATCH FOR BICYCLISTS as this is a very popular ride for the local biking community and the road is narrow and curvy in areas.
