Mt. Lemmon is a very popular getaway for Tucson residents. It sits atop the Santa Catalina Mountains with an altitude of 9,000 feet. It is typically 25 degrees cooler than Tucson, providing an escape from our hot summer days and a winter wonderland during the winter. Ski Valley is at the top of Mt. Lemmon and is a fully functional ski resort with ski lift and lodge.

Take Tanque Verde to Catalina Hwy. and then Catalina Hwy. north. Once you reach the base of the Catalina Mountains, you have just 30 miles to reach the top.
