| Colossal Cave is one of Tucson's oldest and most visited attractions. You can take a guided tour through the cave that takes approximately 45 minutes. It is located at the base of the Rincon Mountains southeast of town. The scenery around and outside of the cave is worth the trip. From east 22nd Street, turn south onto scenic Old Spanish Trail and follow it about 17 miles to Colossal Cave Mountain Park. Or, take I-10 east from Tucson to exit 279 (the Vail/Wentworth exit), turn north, and follow the signs for about 7 miles. Click HERE to open the perspective closest to Colossal Cave.
